Born in South Carolina and raised in Far Rockaway, Queens NY, G-Swagg came to a point in his life where he had to find himself and decide what path he needed to choose in order to become successful. Music became both an outlet and a personal platform to vent on some of the unfortunate actualities he encountered growing up in the Beach 40th St. Public Housing projects in Far Rockaway Queens.
Blessed with exceptional songwriting skill, lyrical brilliance, and a sharp outlook on life, the streets, love, the future, and the music business, G-Swagg gives his music feeling and paints a picture for the listener. Versatile, outspoken, perfectionist, and natural born leader, are just a few words that describe the Queens NY bred Hip Hop Artist/Entertainer. CEO of his own independent entertainment company (Fam Click Entertainment), the young African American and Italian Artist is building his brand.
Offering his life through music, he’s an eminent figure in the Underground movement and grabs the attention of a variety of ears on each installment. He is heavy in the studio working on “Diamond In The Dirt” which is due out Summer 2012.
Aside from his compilation projects, G-Swagg’s performance résumé continues to grow. Having conquered the stages at Williamsburg Music Hall, Santos Party House (NYC), S.O.B.’s, Sway (NYC), Trash Bar in Brooklyn and even opened at the Best of the Best concert in Miami, Florida for Rick Ross, Diddy and Nicki Minaj, G-Swagg has built fan base that follows his every move. He has graced the airwaves of Fat Boy Radio, PNC Radio,
Real Deal Radio, DTF Radio and the Sunday Night Cook-Up. He was new artist guest for UrbanLatinoRadio.com’s “Do or Die” Segment with Pretty Lou Ortega and won on a unanimous vote
which earned him a slot in their upcoming showcase. He was a featured new artist in HoodGrown Magazine’s February 2011 Issue. His song, “Private Affair” was used as the entrance theme song for Wendy Williams’ inaugural Episode for her TV Show “The Wendy Williams Show”.
